So I found this Voter Protection Map over at the Advancement Project. If you check out the website you can click on the different states and see what the voting laws are. It’s a really great resource.

This is completely different from the European hip hop scene, which I find to be entirely politicized. This is what my graduate class on francophone music has taught me most of all. They are so impressive at using music as a vehicle for societal change. Argentina JUST PASSED a groundbreaking gender identity bill!!!
From now on, people will be able to change the name and gender on their ID without needing psychiatric permission or any body modifications. Furthermore, anyone who does want hormones or surgery will be able to access them for free through the public and private health system.
It was passed unanimously today by the Senate.
